It wasn't even a question of us wanting to highlight the citrus flavours of Åkesson's chocolate, so we accompanied it with a very special fruit: candied yuzu peel. Yuzu is a citrus fruit from East Asia, mainly from Japan. It looks like a large lemon or a small grapefruit. This fruit is highly appreciated for its unmistakable flavour, with a strong sour and slightly bitter aroma.
